Assessment & Evaluation

We will have an initial meeting to get to know each other, your primary concerns, your history, and complete a structured interview. We will review the results and initiate a treatment plan together. You can ask questions, gain clarification and if desired, include supports in our review of results and treatment planning. This is an opportunity to establish a connection and create a partnership to actuate your goals and allow you to move forward with recovery from your mental health concerns.

Individual Therapy

We believe in empowering you with the skills to address your mental health concerns. Our job is to teach you what you need to facilitate ongoing health and healing long after we stop working together. We specialize in evidence-based therapies, meaning there are decades of research behind the effectiveness of our treatments. We understand this means making a commitment to yourself, not only for weekly sessions, but also the work between sessions. A course of therapy is usually 10-16 weeks.

Individual Meditation Session

Sarah is trained in iRest (Integrative Restoration) Meditation, which is adapted from Yoga Nidra, a state of “awakened sleep.” The premise of this practice is that you are whole and complete as you already are and our feelings, sensations, emotions, and beliefs often cloud our ability to access our innate wisdom and joy. There have been studies on this meditation practice in addressing chronic pain, insomnia, and depression though anyone can benefit from this practice.

Individual sessions allow one to dive deeper into a particular concern or enhance ongoing practice.

Individual Yoga Session

Sarah received her yoga teacher training at Yoga Center for Healthy Living in Brighton, MI. Her yoga teacher is Lee Ann Prescott. This training is founded in the disciplines of Sivananda, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra as well as yogic philosophy grounded in the Yoga Sutras and the Eight Limb Path. Additionally, Sarah has completed Yoga For All certification with Dianne Bondy & Amber Karnes, the founders of Yoga For All: Creating Body Positive Yoga Classes for All Shapes, Sizes & Abilities.

Individual sessions allow one to establish a foundation or enhance ongoing practice. This is an opportunity to explore yoga as a way to improve your quality of life spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Clinical Hand & Foot Reflexology

Individual sessions, 60-minute (feet or hands) | 90-minute (feet + hands)

Reflexology is a complementary and integrated health approach based on the principles that there are reflexes in the feet and hands relative to every organ, gland, or part of the body. The goal is to encourage the release of blockages or congestion while stimulating circulation and improving nerve and blood supply throughout the entire energy system.
